2024 Summer Dance Camps
Summer camps will be held during select weeks in June, July and August. Camp size is limited. All camps/classes held at the studio (J-6)
All dance camps are directed by Ms. Karen and Dance Magic staff. The program includes a ballet class each day and many fun indoor and outdoor activities. These include creative dance with storytelling and dress-up, as well as studies of various dance forms such as creative movement, jazz, tap & folk dancing. There is also an introduction to stage arts & crafts, with an emphasis on creativity. Camp themes and performances focus on a different ballet and musical theme weekly. Camp Schedule: Themes:
Elementary Age Campers: (Gr 1-6) age 6-12 - 9am-3pm Doors open at 8:45am, pickup from 3pm- 3:15pm Training for Levels 1/2, 3/4, 5/6 will be in separate groups. Session 1: June 24 - 28 (completed) La Fille Mal Gardee / Moana Session 2: July 22 - 26 (completed) Coppelia / Sound of Music Session 3: July 29 - August 2 (completed) Don Quixote / Lion King cost: $595 per week, discounts for multiple weeks Young Campers: (PS/PK to K) age 4-6 9am-12nn August 5-9 (FULL) Nutcracker / The Little Mermaid cost: $395 Summer Intensives: (Gr 7-12) age 12-18 - 1pm-4pm July 8 - 12 (completed) Sleeping Beauty July 15 - 19 (completed) Swan Lake cost: $395 per week Refund policy:
Full refund if withdrawing up to 2 weeks before the session's start date 50% refund if withdrawing between 1-2 weeks before the session's start date 25% refund if withdrawing less than 1 week before the session's start date. No refunds if withdrawing once the session starts. Any refunds outside of these date windows will be at the discretion of the Director. If Covid-19 restrictions mandate camp cancellations, full refunds for unused camps will be issued. |
